Next day we moved over to anchor closer to Robin when a boat left. She said her friend Ken was arriving and would raft up next to her. Coop said Ken who? I know you blog readers will not be ‘surprised at this’ but Coop and Nate met Ken in Klemtu when they are on the Race to Alaska. R2AK in 2016. Fun for me to hear these stories and meet the people after 6 years.

We had a very relaxing afternoon. The three of us went into the beach and soaked in the waterfall pool and washed some of our things and ourselves. In the evening Robin and Al (a nice young man who was on her boat) came over to the Crow to play Mexican Train. We’d never played it but our friend Julie Shryock passed along her set as we left Bainbridge. Tonight Robin brought her set with her and she taught us how to play. We all loved it and laughed together. Great fun.
